You can register for free on the home page at www.bphlfest.com. You can also download the B. PHL app from the app store on your mobile device by searching for B. PHL, and register there.
I registered but don’t know how to log in.
If you’re using the same computer that you registered on, it will likely remember you when you return to the site and won’t require you to log in. If you do need to log in, you can do so on the agenda page by entering the email address you used to register or by entering the ticket number on the original confirmation email you received. Please note, you have to click the confirmation link sent to your email when you initially register.
When is the last day to register?
You can register anytime throughout the festival. Registration will close on Thursday, September 17 at 5 p.m.
Can my [friend/spouse/grandma] register?
B. PHL is free and open to everyone. We invite everyone to participate and would love for you to share the B. PHL love by encouraging others to attend.
How do I get tickets/passes for next year?
The festival’s executive committee plans to work with all the partners on making B. PHL an annual event that the region can look forward to year after year. However, we are not focused on 2021 just yet. Stay tuned for updates on future festivals.
Questions about the app and website
How do I use the community feature of the app?
Once you’re registered for the festival, you are able to view other attendees’ profile information and message them by clicking on the Community tab on the website or clicking the Visit the Community button on the home page of the app.
Internet Explorer is not compatible. The optimal browser for accessing the website is Google Chrome. Also, you may experience difficulty if you’re on a work device or work network, so consider trying a personal device.
The website has incorrect information. Who can fix that?
Once you’re registered, you can access and view events from the agenda tab on the website or app. Events “go live” 2 minutes before they start, and a button will appear on that event that says Join Live Broadcast. Click the button to join the event.
Can I leave an event once it starts?
Being virtual makes it easy to jump in and out of events throughout the day. Use the agenda to enter events and whenever you’d like!
How do I know if an event I want to attend requires pre-registration?
Events that require pre-registration show a chair icon to the left of the event description on www.bphlfest.com. If there's no chair, that means the event is open to all B. PHL ticket holders and no pre-registration is required.
How do I pre-register for an event?
Events that require pre-registration show a chair icon to the left of the event description on www.bphlfest.com. To register, click the chair to save your seat. If you can’t attend, please unclick your chair to open that seat for another attendee.
If I click the star to say I’m interested, what does that mean?
The star helps you bookmark the sessions you’re interested in, so it’s easy to find them again. It’s an easy way to help build out your schedule!
Will there be a speaker Q&A?
Many events include a Q&A session at the end; attendees can type questions in the Q&A box on the screen to ask questions.
Do I have to attend a certain number of events?
You may attend as few or as many events as you’d like. B. PHL is flexible and allows you to join when and where you want! Click the star icon on the left of session descriptions to mark those events you’re interested in to help customize your festival experience.
Will there be an intermission/breaks?
While sessions are booked for an hour, most session content is designed to last only 45 minutes to allow for a built-in break. Of course, since the festival is virtual this year, it’s easy to take a break when you’d like!
Where can I get a list of all the speakers and events?
Events start at different times. Please see the schedule on www.bphlfest.com or the B. PHL app.
Will events be recorded and posted?
Although some events are being recorded, they will not be posted during the three days of the festival due to platform limitations. Stay tuned for news on future viewings!
Questions about experiences
What and where are the experiences?
We have experiences at various locations throughout Philadelphia over the three days, and our scavenger hunt is open from Monday 9/14 to Saturday 9/19. For a full listing of experiences and their locations, visit www.bphlfest.com and click the Explore Philly and B. Extra pages.
How do I participate in the scavenger hunt?
To be part of the hunt, go to the app store on your mobile device and download the free Scavify app. Create a log in and enter B. PHL to access the hunt. Collecting 60 points earns you a free B. PHL t-shirt; complete all the tasks and get an Experience PHL Prize Pack!
